Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, then stir in the oats, chopped apples, and raisins.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
