  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella, cubed
  • 2 cups marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Take a small portion of the meat mixture, flatten it, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and enclose the cheese by rolling the meat into a ball.
  4. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with marinara sauce.
