- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella, cubed
- 2 cups marinara sauce, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Take a small portion of the meat mixture, flatten it, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and enclose the cheese by rolling the meat into a ball.
- Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce.

- For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef and pork.
