  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • Frosting:
    • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl. In another bowl, whisk the milk, eggs, and vanilla. Combine both mixtures and stir in melted butter. Pour into the pan.
  3. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the batter. Swirl with a knife.
  4. Bake for 28-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and milk to desired consistency. Spread over warm cake.
