Instructions
- Place chicken in the bottom of the crock pot and layer with butter, onion, garlic, carrots, and celery.
- In a bowl, mix chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour over the ingredients in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
