Ingredients
- 🥚 6 large eggs
- 🥛 1 cup milk (or heavy cream for a richer texture)
- 🧀 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 🧅 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 🫑 1 bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 🥓 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or ham (optional)
- 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
- 🌿 Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheese, chopped onion, bell pepper, and cooked bacon or ham.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is golden.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
