- 6 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Peel and trim the carrots. If they are thick, slice them in half lengthwise.
- Wrap each carrot with a slice of bacon and place them on the baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Brush the maple syrup mixture generously over the bacon-wrapped carrots.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are tender.
