Description

Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole is the ultimate comfort food! This creamy, cheesy, and hearty baked pasta dish combines layers of spaghetti, rich meat sauce, and a creamy cheese mixture for a meal that's perfect for family dinners, potlucks, or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces spaghetti 🍝
  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage 🥩
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce 🍅
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 🧀
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese 🧀
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 🧀
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted 🧈
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 🧄
  • Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
  • Fresh parsley for garnish 🌿

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and toss with melted butter.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.
  • Layer half of the spaghetti in the prepared baking dish. Spread the cheese mixture evenly on top, followed by the remaining spaghetti.
  • Pour the meat sauce over the top and spread evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the casserole.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is melted. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based meat for variations.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
